A metal laser cutting machine costs more than tens of thousands of yuan per device, so it is important to pay attention to it during operation and maintain it regularly in order to increase the service life of the equipment, save costs, and increase efficiency.
Safe operation of metal laser cutting machine
1. Follow the general cutting machine operating procedures. Strictly follow the laser startup procedure to start the laser.
2. The operator must undergo training, be familiar with the equipment structure and performance, and master the relevant knowledge of the operating system.
3. Wear labor protection equipment according to regulations and wear glasses that comply with regulations near the laser beam.
4. Do not process a material until it is determined whether it can be irradiated or heated by laser to avoid potential hazards such as smoke and vapor.
5. When the equipment is started, the operator shall not leave the post without authorization or entrust someone to take care of it. If it is necessary to leave, the machine should be stopped or the power switch should be cut off.
6. Keep the fire extinguisher within easy reach; Turn off the laser or optical shutter when not processing; Do not place paper, cloth, or other flammable materials near unprotected laser beams.
When abnormalities are found during the processing, the machine should be stopped in a timely manner, the fault should be removed or reported to the supervisor.
8. Keep the laser, bed and surrounding area clean and orderly, and stack workpieces, plates, and waste materials according to regulations.
When using gas cylinders, be careful not to crush the welding wires to avoid electric leakage accidents. The use and transportation of gas cylinders should comply with the gas cylinder supervision regulations. Do not expose gas cylinders to direct sunlight or near heat sources. When opening the bottle valve, the operator should stand on the side of the bottle mouth.
10. When repairing, follow the high-voltage standard process. Every 40 hours of operation or weekly maintenance, every 1000 hours of operation or every six months of maintenance, must be carried out according to regulations and procedures.
11. After starting up, manually start the machine at low speed in the X and Y directions and check for any abnormal conditions.
After inputting the new workpiece program, it should be tested first and its operation status checked.
13. When working, pay attention to the operation of the machine tool to avoid accidents caused by the cutting machine going out of the specified travel range or collisions between two machines.
